FREE LEAN STARTUP WORKSHOPS

Target Audience:

Entrepreneurs with an idea, a recent start-up, or an existing business looking to pivot its direction or expand to new markets.

Attend one or both workshops!

  • Wednesday, July 14th: Startup Innovation Workshop–Learn how to unpack, explore, and define the problem, solution, customer, and the context of your idea.
  • Thursday, August 19th: Customer Driven Innovation–Learn how to develop your business idea through a lean canvas to identify the problem, explore customers, and begin the process of assessing the opportunity to develop a lean startup.

Value Proposition Design Online Certificate Course

Exclusively for pre-launch and early stage technology entrepreneurs who plan to seek external grant or equity funding.  Participants utilize Lean Startup tools and receive feedback from instructors deeply experienced in science/technology entrepreneurship.  In addition, industry experts and entrepreneur mentors offer insights, advice and connections. Successful completion earns a Certificate in Value Proposition Design from the Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship.

For anyone interested in learning about Lean Startup and innovation commercialization.  This is a “light” version of the Online Certificate course. Includes specific examples of how startups have used Lean Startup tools to advance their ventures.

A Forum hosted by Launch Minnesota to discuss topics and questions of the startup community.

Fourth Friday of every month

An opportunity to learn and discuss the topics facing Minnesota’s startup community. We know many of you have questions, ideas and concerns regarding your business or organization. Launch Minnesota is bringing together individuals from the public and private sector to answer questions and provide support to our startup community.

We will host monthly calls on the 4th Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. The sessions will kick off with subject matter experts and updates, but time will be reserved for questions and discussion.

Entrepreneur Meetup is a weekly gathering of entrepreneurs, mentors, advisors, and others to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. It is modeled after the 1 Million Cups initiative founded by the Kauffman Foundation. Entrepreneur leader in the Bemidji region have decided at this time to take pieces of the 1 Million Cups format but more importantly, make their own catering to the uniqueness of this Northern Minnesota region. The weekly meetings are called Entrepreneur Meetups.
